Its been a long time since i ever written something to keep track of wats happening in my life... but yea its a new start and i really hope penning down this journey with God will remind me and people around me how great this God is.
Always thought worship was the 'in and cool' thing but recently it all came crashing down and all the cracks i've been trying to hide finally gave way... I lost touch with the the word... I lost God's touch... God wasn't running away from me just that i've been trying to hard to fulfill His will in my own impatient timing and strength... It consumes you from the inside out... a long battle that wasn't meant to be, a battle that would not have any victory at all... yea finally it came to a point, i saw myself trying to hard and started to wonder where's my God in this all... well... patience is indeed a virtue and something i believe God wants to teach me in this season... Also trusting God in His sovereign timing and will...
True enough, i really know my skills in music is definitely given by God, the ability to listen to music and arrange music is given by God. Time and time again i remind myself that once wanted to run away from worship music but every time God made me pick up a guitar to play a song of worship to Him.... and guess wat i lost that innocence in worship... worship to me was playing well, playing perfect... I was wrong, terribly wrong....
Mulling on it for 2 days... its time to stand back on my feet, and not just stand but to start running after this God who always stood beside me to pick me up! Its a new start and a new beginning! Amen!
